Correspondence, reports, notes, and other materials relating to Galpin's work on the history of Syracuse University, duties as professor and chairman of the History Department, workshop and courses on the British Commonwealth, participation on the Advisory Committee on the Teaching of History, and other professional and personal activities. Also records removed from offices of the University including the files of Chancellor Charles Wesley Flint, Vice-Chancellor William Pratt Graham, Dean of Men's Affairs A. Blair Knapp, and Dean of the College of Business Administration Charles L. Raper. These records were used by Galpin in the third volume of his history of Syracuse University.
